THE DESIGN PROCESS

1. IDEA

You've got an idea... but you could do with some help. First thing to do is send an enquiry form and I can guide you through the design process with a consultation.

It helps to be as informative as possible. What service are you looking for? Be sure to include any ideas you have and inspiration you have seen as well as colours you like and any imagery or text you want included.

2. DESIGN

Once you have had a consultation, you will receive a quote for the work. All prices are quoted depending on the brief given. Before starting any project a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

Within 2 weeks of a deposit being paid, you will receive the first design draft. Completion time will depend on how many changes are made and the scale of the project. Timescale will be discussed before the project is started.

3. END PRODUCT

After seeing the first draft, you will be able to make changes until you are happy with the final design.

Once the design has been approved, the final payment will need to be made. Once this is paid you will have 100% ownership of any files.
 

Then you can share your new design to the world!

  • How much does it cost to have a design?
    All prices are quoted depending on the brief as each project has different requirements. The best way to provide all the details of your project is by filling out the full enquiry form on the contact page. Some details may need to be clarified before giving an accurate quote.   • Do you offer a payment plan?
    Once you have received your quote and agreed to a project, the payment required will be split into two. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your booking. Payment options for larger projects can be discussed if needed but no projects will be started without a deposit.
  • How long do your designs take?
    Timelines for projects can vary. You will receive an estimate timeline before going ahead with your project. Branding normally takes between 2 - 4 weeks and websites normally take a minimum of 3 weeks. This can depend on the scale of the project and what changes are required throughout.
  • What services do you provide?
    Branding and website design are the main services offered however you are more than welcome to enquire about other projects. There is a full list on the services page. These can be in addition to branding/websites or as stand alone projects.
  • How do I get booked in?
    Firstly, please fill out the full enquiry form on the contact page. This will help me understand the service you require. From there, I will book in a consultation with you and provide you with a quote. After you have been sent all of the relevant information and you agree to the project, you will be sent an invoice. You will only be booked in once the initial deposit has been paid and you have been given a start date for your project.
  • I have seen a design I want, can you recreate it?
    No designs will be copied from any other sources. You are welcome to send inspiration and styles you have seen that you like so that I can understand the vision for your project but this will not be copied.
  • Will you update an existing website?
    Yes. If you have an existing website that needs updating, help to complete something you started yourself or a new page adding, ChelleVisual can help you with this. No project is too small!
  • How many changes are included?
    There is no set amount on revisions - we will work together until you are happy with the end design so long as you are not making unreasonable or excessive requests and taking advantage of the free changes.
  • What files will I receive?
    For most projects, you will receive the editable file used to create the design such as the Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator file, as well as any jpegs, pdfs, pngs etc... For website design you will recieve video tutorials on how to use and edit your website and add products etc... If you require any specific files, please let me know at the beginning of the project and this can be sorted for you.
  • Do you offer printing?
    Yes. Printing can be added to your design project. Please ask for an additional printing quote with your printing requirements.
